Just looking toward the end of the year (I know its only March) and was wondering if there would be any interest in a twin-engine campaign?
Could be any twin-engine aircraft: fighters, bombers, transports. Or based around just the fighters that sometimes don't get the same press as their sleeker sisters the single engine gals.

C-47. B-25, B-26, F7F, P-38, P-61, C-45, F-82, C-2, C-46 and that's just the spinny thingies in the stash.
What about the flamey tail thingies?

I have a few that would fit into this campaign

Great idea PH. I ran the Zerstorer Campaign dedicated to WWII Twin-Engine heavy fighters back in 2011. Broadening the scope by allowing light bombers and transports would make for a very interesting selection of subject matter.
Zerstorer Campaign Thread is here for anybody interested.

Well if its got two engines, spinny things or flamey things, that flew during WWII I think it would be fine.

Count me in too. Had fun participating in the Zestorer campaign. Would love to have another go at it.

I'm in. But I don't think I have anything with 2 spinny or flamey thingies.
Well I guess I'll have to go shopping.

Count me in also. Got several candidates for a build, thinking about a Mossie or the Arado Blitz...or just anything in between. My idea is to enlist only 2 campaigns next year this way i can commit my bench time adequately.
Cheers!

Next year would be a go for me, I have several to pick from. Perhaps I could build the Martin Baltimore that has been sitting on the shelf for awhile.

Howdy Y'all
Is this still a possibility for the end of the year/early next year? I'm pretty booked until then but it sounds like a great campaign idea.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Are we still thinking about this campaign? Or is this thing still born? Because I have quite a number of kits that would fit the bill and I would like to get this baby off the ground!

Alas, Pricklehead hasn't visited the forums since June. Someone else may need to take up the reins on this one.
And like MD72, I haven't finished too many lately, so I hate to sign up myself, but I will certainly check in, and if time permits, I have some candidates on the shelf!

I´m in as well. There are way to many 2 mots in my stash.
B-25, B-26, P-61, Ta154, Horten Go229. I think I will stay with the WW2 stuff. B-25 or the rare Ta154 are my first choices so far.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the candidates on my shelf are a B-25 or a C-47.

I'm going to commit to this campaign as I really like the concept. Hopefully, the PV-1 build will be either done or close to it by the end of the year. At this point I'm wide open as to what to build, although I do have the Revell 1/48 scale PBY-5A just seating on the to be built shelf if nothing else jumps out at me.

Well, this campaign sounds fine to me. Got a Do 17 from Airfix in my stash and a Do 335 from Revell, both in 1/72. But, is the Do 335 a real twin? Its got two engines, but they are installed in a serial and not parallel way .

This one sounds like it still has supporters. Anyone willing to lead it? I think if I were to get the submission, I'd approve it based on the numbers I see here. I believe it would run from November to May but I could push back the start if that's what you all want.

I'm happy to jump in and lead this one, but I'm not going to commit to a build as I have a couple of other things brewing in the same time frame.
I really enjoyed leading the Zerstorer Campaign and I have a soft spot for the twin engine designs.
Cheers, D
