Extraordinary thread here. Very thankful to you for this effort. You are answering many questions. I must admit I had not noticed this thread until after I posted my 109 last week.
Are you planning to continue with 1/32 109s?

I have a lot of 1/48th scale 109's still to do but do not plan on doing 1/32nd scale right now, I have one I am working on but they take up so much more room.

another Hasegawa G6 with rocket launchers
no build shots on this one but it is pretty much the same as the previous G6 with a different paint scheme and the rockets

my first Eduard 109, this is the early version G6 that lots of people had a hard time with, it does have longer wings than the newer one but it will look like a 109 and it does need to be here for a comparison.

this Eduard kit went together without a hitch, I am impressed with the way they engineered this and it was so fun to do.

No disregard towards all previous builds (all very good) I really enjoy this flamboyant Romanian Gustav. Excellent airbrush work on the fuselage mottle.
That said, the eduard early gustav was cursed by the modeling community on account of dimensional errors and odd shapes like the UC legs stance, visible on your model photo. But still feel its a easy and fun trip to build.

first square tip 109 for this comparison and I wanted to start with the very first 109 I built when i was younger, My good buddy Rudy at Kings in Austin Texas found one for me and here it is.

I will not go crazy with detail on this one as I plan on doing a bunch of newer and more detailed kits like Tamiya, Hasegawa, and Eduard E models. This will be a quick no frills build with new wheels from True Details and modern decals but other than that it will be stock. it is bringing back so many good memories as I build it.
OK I did add some detail to the back of the cockpit and a headrest and will use the Tamiya pilot to fill the hole so it won't look to empty.

Sorry to pitch in so late in the thread, but only just discovered it.
I have access to a real live flying Bf109 (along with a number of other flying warbirds) if you would be interested in any reference photos of exhaust stains, fluid leaks, etc. If there is anything in particular of which you would like close-ups let me know and I will endeavor to get them.

thanks Mark, what 109 is it that is there? would love to see any pictures you want to post, maybe you could do one of the walk arounds for the forums.

I have a pretty stressful job and this is what I do to relax at least an hour or so a day and it just falls together if you keep plugging away at it.

monogram 109 needs a pilot to fill the cockpit as I did not do anything inside so I took the pilot out of the Tamiya 109
