the decals went on without a hitch for me, I used Solvaset which is a little stronger than most.
Great work on your 109's as always. It's a pleasure to look at them. I also never had problems with Tamiya decals. I don't know why people complain about the quality and/or thickness. In the end with the right softner (I use Revell Decal Softener for all decals, no matter what brand they are) they go on like a dream and are not thick at all. Keep them coming!

must.resist.buying...for now.
Looking good Doug, as always. Are those locating tags on the gear legs so the angles are correct? If so, very nice.
Edit. Those paper belts are looking pretty fine also, Is that just normal 80gsm or something particular?
regards.
yes they are locating tabs and the fit and angle is perfect, I use regular printer paper for the belts.

Brillant work, Doug! This aircraft is quite famous. Academy had it in its program for years. There are some well known photos in the internet of "White 9". The pilot was Hauptmann (Captain) Emil Clade (1916-2010), an ace with 27 kills.

Exceptional work on the 109's Doug. One of these days I am going to build a Condor Legion bird - yours looks fantastic! Your diorama is also extremely well executed and tells a nice story. I have to agree with those who commented on your figures, they look absolutely first rate.

Sweet G6 Doug, it tempts me to build it, though I don't normally build 1/48 scale anymore.

Doug, I went through your thread again and became interested in the hangar work shop. Where or what document/photos did you use to construct this? I would like to try one myself.
