It appears that most of the tanks that served with the Australians were part of the British tank corp. Not sure what that means or not.
Anyway I could not find any real tanks in the camo pattern that the dummy tanks are in. But while searching I did find some real nice ANZAC M-41 Bulldog tanks with nice camouflage. I think I may switch to that when the time comes.

Kiwi M-41's had a MERDC scheme applied to the I think that may be what you're referring to? Take a look at this link

Yeah, That's the one!
The mods to the Tamiya kit should be fairly easy.
This is from Armorama post back in 2008.
This is a quick guide to making a M41A1 in service with the RNZAC, from the Tamiya kit.
MODIFICATIONS
1. Fit stowage rails between the headlight guards.
2. Cut the mudguards (fenders) off at 45 degrees, both front and rear.
3. Add strengthening ribs to the read side stowage bins (both sides)
4. Add cable drum to turret side (ex Tamiya Centurion)
5. Add tow rope brackets to driver’s side
6. Move .50 cal mount to behind the gunner’s sight, on the outside edge of the turret and fit a second mount level with the rear of the commander’s hatch approx on the centre line of the turret.
7. Replace antenna bases with British style ones
8. Add auxiliary generator exhaust and silencer on right-hand exhaust cover.
MARKINGS:
Tac Sign: Red over Yellow with the number “2” in either white or black, on the right side of the glacis plate and rear transmission access plate.
National Sign: A Kiwi in black facing to the right (as observed) on the left side of the glacis plate and rear transmission access plate.
Vehicle Number: Prefixed with “NZ”, numbers ranged from 30540 to 30549 (yes we only had 10).
Unit Badge: Originally the badge of the Wellington East Coast Mounted Rifles, a horse rampant, top of the side of the turret level with the gunner’s sight, horse facing forward.
Later the badge of Queen Alexandra’s Mounted Rifles. N.B. with the change of badge the Tac Sign changed to “64”.

Mostly posting this for me. That way I do not have to search for it again.

Bump time! Here are some excellent decal sheets to build some interesting Kiwi armour in Italy.
And while you're at it check out this link to see just how large an item we Kiwi's could .... liberate!

I really like the Sherman Firefly decals from Bison - outstanding!
I am now on the lookout for this decal set. My current Firefly build has just been changed to a ANZAC vehicle.

Hi Mike pleased I could get you onto building something a little different for your Firefly build.
I have doubles of the Bison decals sheets for the 20th armoured regiment 1/35, Kiwi armour 1/48 (two MkVc firefly's), New Zealand armour in north Africa and Europe 1/35 and Dingo armoured cars 1/35 (with two New Zealand options) for anyone wishing them just send me a PM with your address details and I'll get them over too you. From what I can see the 19th Armoured Regiment set has been discontinued but may still be available somewhere.

I honestly can't tell if it's 1 August down under or not, but I think it is. So, without further ado, I announce the start of the 2017 ANZAC campaign! For the official thread, please go here. Please post all campaign related discussion there. This current thread will now be locked.
Have at it, all!
