Mark take your time I'm adding a two week extension to the campaign to help those like you and me who are not to far off completing their kits.

Thanks Chris! I ended up with a bit of extra time today and got almost all the way to the finish line. Got all the fiddly bits installed, then tied off the antenna. It still needs trimmed. Ready to go to the paint shop for some weathering.

And one boomerang completed, and images uploaded to the gallery.
Had hoped to complete both for this campaign, but the amount of work needed just to get the thing assembled meant I had to just focus on the one.
Hi Iain, I just uploaded my pics to the campaign gallery and couldn't see your Boomerang, thought I'd let you know just in case.
cheers.

Great Hurricane Spud!
And here's its BoB stablemate. I was going to ask for an extension but with a holiday weekend here I made the final push.
Air Commodore Alan Christopher "Al" Deere, DSO, OBE, DFC & Bar (12 December 1917 – 21 September 1995) was a New Zealand Spitfire pilot in the Battle of Britain.
This was his bird when he crashed head on into a Bf109 in July 1940.
Great campaign Chris, thanks for organising. It produced lot of great builds.
cheers
Michael

It would seem there are two Anzac campaign galleries listed, one under campaigns and one under Aeroscale campaigns.

Noice one Michael, perfect timing.
And yes Chris, thanks for organizing. It's been interesting building to a deadline, but a nice way to remember those that served.
regards.

thanks for signaling the gallery problem, i've uploaded my photos in the wrong gallery

I've had confirmation gentlemen the campaign will run till the 18th of February. I've also informed the powers that be that there seem to be two galleries so they can sort it out and reduce it to one official gallery.

Thanks for the previous nice words all......
Michael & Spud, very nice Spitfire and hurricane.....
Every time I see those 2 planes I want to pull mine out of the stash.....
I have finished my build.
I painted and added the 50 cal, Stowage and Antennas.
I did some more weathering with wash and pastels. it's hard to tell in the images but it really cut sown on the brightness and contrast in coloring.

Nice job Jeff, I love that camo scheme. I don't know if it was unique to the NZ Army or not, but for me it always seemed uniquely kiwi.

I did it! This one is finished.
Thanks Chris, it was a fun campaign, and I needed just a little more time. I really enjoyed this build. Thanks for letting some random Yank join your remembrance of ANZAC.
I'll share this shot of my two ANZAC planes to close.

Mark you're not some random yank you're one of our community and as such are offered honorary admission into the ANZAC halls. A good close friend is an old US Navy man and gladly considered a Kiwi (LOL he married one after all).
Spud just an awesome build on the Hurricane! Looks like it could fly right off the desk!
Michael loving the Spitfire! Those early Spits with rounded spinner and airframe looked so graceful.
Jeff! buddy! That MERDC camo is just the shiz! And the extra work you did to turn it into a Kiwi M41 was just outstanding.
Well gentlemen we have two weeks left to wrap this up and I'm lagging behind ... as usual. I'm struggling to get the gun mounted as it doesn't fit that well which is largely my fault for not checking the dimensions as I was building. I may just do a Diorama of it being winched into place but we'll see the easiest fix is simply to have it towed but that defeats the whole portee idea. LOL

So apparently, some how, there were two galleries for this campaign. Not sure how that happened, but since the entries in one of them were also in the other, along with several others, I've deleted the gallery under the KitMaker campaigns heading. The gallery under AeroScale campaign remains live and is the correct one to use for this campaign. It can be found here.

Well, I managed to get my pics in the right gallery the first time.

Excellent Michael! I appreciate the reduction in galleries and look forward to getting my pics up as soon as I've completed the kit.

Ref your question about we Aussie blokes using Machetes, when I enlisted in 1972 all of us in the Inf Battalions were issued one.
I do recall seeing them in WW2 photos featuring Aussie Diggers in New Guinea but I think it was later in the Kokoda campaign after the 9th Division units deployed there from the middle east theater.

Bushmaster PMV AMTG2 Iraq 2005-2006 finished.

Great to see everyone's builds. The Spitfire, P-40 and Bushmaster are fantastic.
Been putting the last few finishing touches to my figure and base today. I'm going to wait for glue and paint to dry before I photograph it tomorrow.

Nice variation of models!
My addition, this vintage Revell 1/32 scale P-40 serving in Africa
Straight forward build ended up in grey primer
With some searching i found a Tamiya mixture that should be good and i must admit it looks ok.
I had the idea to do the model in take-off mode as i like the turning wheels of this beats.
The old decals look ok but i think i still need to do some floor polish layers
I still need to find a driver and make a proper pice of wood but this is how i supposed to look like in the end.
Thank you for the nice campaign

Great work Jan, never knew Revell did this at 1/32. I like how you have displayed it. Might even try something like that myself in the future.
Here's my build finished. ANZAC Infantryman, Gallipoli 1915.
I've added pics to the gallery.
It's been great fun to build and paint a figure after so long since I last tried. Made a nice change.
Also been great to see everyone's builds and we've seen a lot of very different subjects spanning WW1 to Afghanistan.
Thanks for hosting.

Fine work by all here!
Time to wrap this one up. Ribbons have been awarded so let me know if you didn't get one and think you should. See you mates around the shop!
