Frankly I'm a little surprised no one else jumped on this one already, but tally ho, I say!
1 April, 1918 was a banner day in military aviation history. On that day the first independent, co-equal Air Force came into being with the establishment of Britain's Royal Air Force. Over the last 100 years the RAF has fought and survived attempts to destroy it from within and without and remains in the forefront of air forces worldwide.
If the 100th anniversary of the RAF isn't a good reason for a campaign here on AeroScale, I don't know what is. The rules would be pretty simple, build any aeroplane flown by Britain's Royal Air Force, in any (real) colour scheme, anywhere in the world, as long as it's in RAF colours. I figure, given it's an anniversary year, the campaign would run for an entire year, but it would (of course) start on 1 April.
Anyone interested?
Michael

Can't NOT join this one.
I'll have to think long and hard about what to do though.... a year long campaign begs another big build

Michael,
I’m hoping to see Airfix new Blenheim Mk.1 released soon. So in between bombers campaign and the aluminium one, I’m sure I can squeeze that one... Did I mention that the MK.1 Blenheim is the cutest of the family
Cheers
Pedro

Don't normally build British subjects, but I've got at least 3 candidates. Monogram 1/48 Spitfire, Airfix 1/72 Canberra, Matchbox 1/72 Buccaneer, and even a Ark Models (ex Frog) 1/72 Vultee Vengeance.

I'm in!
Got a Jet Provost T.4 in the planning stage so it fits the campaign nicely.
I've made a poor showing in campaigns over the past year, but I'm determined to complete this one.

You can count on me, too, Michael. And I go with Pedro. Would build Airfix' new quarterscale Blenheim or Revell's new Beaufighter, when it's finally out in the shops.

A little bump before this one takes off on 1 April. My choice for the campaign is something I got for my birthday earlier this month:
I was kind of drooling over this one when I saw the online reviews and it doesn't disappoint in real life!
Pretty much chock full of goodies, we'll have a closer look when I actually get started. Side note, I seem to have gotten the last one of these from Sprue Brothers as they showed "out of stock" as soon as I ordered it. There's a sign that I need to build it if ever I saw one!

I’m in, not sure what I’ll build yet, I have one or two RAF kits in the stash in all five main scales.

Michael, that Tempest looks amazing. I'll be interested to see how it goes together as I've got my eye on a couple of Special Hobby's 1/32 aircraft.

Bob,
Not to be pedantic, but "that's no Tempest!"
