Couldn't resist, we have 2 superb Spitfire Mk V's in the forum at the moment and as everyone knows, "you just can't have too many Spitfires" so I thought I would post just a couple of pics of a couple of mine. A Mk1, from the Battle for Britain and the penultimate Mk22.
Then while getting the links I thought why not a Mk XIV as well

I have build only one so far but have six others in my stash. This is the Airfix 1/48 kit I bought to practice rescribing...

Nice birds Mal.
Here are some of mine.
The old ARII kit with AeroMaster Decals. [This model is with the RAAF's O.T.S.]
The two Tamiya kits [Mk I and Mk Vb] made into the Mk IIb and the Mk Va by interchanging the wings of each kit.
The Tamiya Mk Vb kit in the AeroMaster decal sheet of Don Gentle, when part of the Eagle Squadron.

Okay Phil, I'll help you out with your "other half", being an Ocean and a Continent away I should be fairly safe.
My offer only stands though, if you learn to spell Spitfire with a capital "S". Show some respect ! :-)

Great to see so many Spitfires in one place (apart from a Messerspit, sacrilege )
Rowan, weren't you doing a pink Spitfire?
Simple Phil, just tell her, "you just can't have too many Spitfires"

That's a brilliant idea! Every Thursday we should post all the pics we have of a certain type of plane, like we did with the Spitfire... every Thursday another country, just for fun and comparison. Imagine all the Stukas, Corsairs, Zeros etc... out there!

All I can say is there is a lot of talent here. Beautiful work to you all. I would post a pic of mine, but that entitles me getting up with a camera, walking down stairs, you guys get the idea. To much work.

Yep a great idea, we need a way of choosing who chooses the next aircraft of note?
Funny we have tried this before and it became the MOM what will this become

being as it was sort of my idea, i was just wondering if i could put up a theme for next thursday? its something i think a lot of people will have built, so it should make for a big turnout, like Spitfire night!
