Almost finished... worked on the decals all night and am just putting the last few parts on before I give it one more future. Then, either later tonight or first thing tomorrow, I'll clear coat it. It will still be the 31st somewhere in the world when I finish
- I've noticed that most WWII planes appear satiny - would a semi-gloss clear coat be appropriate?
And a quick pick to show the current status
Cheers

Hi Wiz!
Looks very good with the markings!
I hope you will be finished before the 31st but you must know that I will give one more week to all participants for the Duel Campaign. The new deadline is Sunday 7th January. So don't rush...

Aaaaaaaaaarrrggghhhhh!!!!!
I went to laquer the plain and a big drop of laquer flew out of the nozzle and onto the wing, burning away some of the paint. I have to quickly retouch the paint on the wing before this is finished.
I also I need to do some more oil & dirt streaks on the underside.
Finished soon.
Happy New Year
Cheers Wiz

Hi Wiz!
That's too bad! But these are the dangers of dogfighting!
I hope you will make it safely to your airfield so your ground crew can make some repairs on your plane...

FINISHED!!!!!
I've cheated a little, I didn't have anything to make the antenna wire out of, so I digitally added it for the moment.
Jean-Luc thanks for a great campaign (and the extension...)
Cheers

Hi Wiz!
Thank you for another superb entry to the Duel Campaign! I think with these markings we make the perfect "Rotte"! I understand why the Russians prefer to stay on the ground.
As for the aerial wire, no one would have noticed...
Thanks again!
