Wooohoooo!! Got this delivered today!
So, these will be my kick off, getting back into the building business....just to get some good quality waterbased paint and other tidbits...(phew!)
The Mosquito will be a No 139 Squadron bird and the Beaufighter a No 603 City Of Edinburgh.... Now, I just have to find some decent pics of these squadrons...
Oh yeah! What's on the menu for tonight O' Ancient One?

Oh Baaaaby Jan has some serious plastic to build. In honour of that and as a way to make up to poor old Jan, lets do an entente party!
We will show "Enemy at the Gates", "Cross of Iron" and an old stand by "The Battle of Britain."
First an entree of Bulya-baise and Borscht.
Main course will be Steak and Kidney Pie, potato fritters, steamed cabbage and oxtail soup.
for desert? Honey and fresh bread.
post meal? Black coffee or black rasberry tea and starwberry and rhubarb pie.
Dress will be any WWII uniform.
Then there will be the booper reels during coffee!

Stephen , movie night sounds like it will be a blast ! With all this beer to test taste I don't recommend having Jan for the security details ! . He always seems to be tied up !
For my costume maybe something a little on the naughty side
Jan would it be easier if you just purchace the hobby shop !!!!!!!!

You in something naughty....would that be the female version of a Gestapo uniform, since you keep tying people (like me) up?
As for buying the shop, don't think that it would be such a good idea Terry, I'd just keep it closed, so that I could build all the models myself....
Maybe wearing a Wiking or Nordland SS uniform will give some peace....?
I think that I handle the Security Detail rather smoothly, even if work seem to keep tying me up slightly....

Far be it from me to make judgement calls. But a Canadian Snowbird in a black SS thingy. Never! I believe she was refering to a The Naughtingham Female Auxilary of the South Ontario Rail Road Troops stationed at Bamington Hall in lower Wexley. (NFA -SORRT).
The "togs are a full length button up type much like the Flieger Combination of the German aviation air crews in 1918. The ladies wear am arm patch that displays an angelic form with outstretched wings. The protective head gear and the peace time markings around it have been mistaken for an angelic halo. Shoes are the sensible ankle high low heeled boots in a matching colour to the mustard yellow togs.

Guten Morgen Stephen and Jan !
Stephen is a vast assortment of knowledge , just learned some new info my self ! Made some notes and will take a stroll down to the library and look into this some more . As for the Gestapo uniform you might be on to something there Jan . My dad is German and my mom Dutch . And yes I do like tying people up who miss behave !!!!(people like Jan )
I was thinking on the lines of a nurse , with Jan doing security details and always seeming to be tied up when needed . If some one gets hurt their would be medical aid on hand !
Wiking , Norland ss uniform , keeping the peace ? I don't think we will have to worry about him , he'll be tied up anyway !
You would keep the shop closed to us would you ...............................................
