I'm here (wiping the tears of laughter from my eyes.) Tonite we begin the showings of "Star Wars" - the extended versions, episodes 1-6. The food fare will be a Southwestern flavor. Grilled stuffed burritos, Quesadias, Nachos (chicken or beef), Tortilla enchilada soup dos exes servesa and dackeries of the banana and strawberry flavor. Those with or without tequila can be chosen. And of course sun tea.

Sorry fellas...
So much going around you know...my dad having a heart operation, just that made me a nervous wreck... One of my friends found out that they have cancer another having a heart attack....and so on...
Kinda lost inspiration...still bought a bit here and there though, cutting mat, tools, just the other day I bought a Iwata HP-CS Eclipse airbrush...
Bought a kit here and there too, mostly cars though for some "dark side" 1948-72 NASCAR racers....Fred Lorenzen, Curtis Turner, Fireball Roberts and others...
Just now I'm looking to buy something with in an easy camouflage or O/D, like a Beaufighter, Mosquito, B-25 or P-38....
Could start with one of my PBY's as a Dumbo or a Black Cat...but getting black to look good in 1/48 is rather difficult, isn't it?
Anyhoo, GREAT to be back among friends!
Soooo, what have I missed?

Jan
Try either a Tamiya Mossie or Beau, they are wonderful kits to build (the beau is slightly easier)
Sorry to hear sad news, but great to have you back.

Hey thats kinda personal eh? Oh, you mean in the kitchen? Tonight is a gangster's last meal. Steak & lobster with a bit of cracked crab on the side. We have a stock of distilled spirits from the underground warehouse of that notorious gangland figure Al "what is income tax?" Capone. Tommy guns will be checked at the door. The secret knock will be to the tune of "The night Chicago died". SSssshhh don't tell anyone.

Andrew! "What we have here is failure to communicate!" You were discussing only the entrees. There is gator stew. cornpone, hog jowls and grits for the main course. Then there is a scrumptous strawberry and possum pie.
