So, is this campaign for all Russian-built aircraft, no matter the country?
If it is, I got a few suitable kits in my stash. South front's LaGG-3 will make a nice LG-1 in FAF colors, as will Revell's 1:72 Mig-21.

as far as i understand we agreed to " no matter what a/c as long as it has the red star on the fuselage or tail"

Yep, I think that is what we finally agreed on, anykind of aircraft as long as it has a red star....

With all the different air bases and fighter regiments etc within the Red Air Force, was there any unit markings displayed on the aicrafts?
How did you recognize a bird from a different unit?
