As 2012 is the 30th anniversary of the Falkland War Italeri have prepared the 30th anniversary Falklands War 1982-2012 collection. The collection consists of three 1:72 scale model kits of RAF machines.
These are probably re-issues of the already known kits.
The first one is Harrier GR.3, item no. 1278
Painting schemes available in this set enables to finnish the kit in one of two HMS Hermes „Falkland War” painting scheme or one from 1st Sqn in Norway in 1986.
Harrier GR.3 website.
Second kit is Wessex HAS.3, item no. 1330
This time we also get two Falkland painting schemes of the machines based on HMS Antrim and one pre-war from Cosword in 1967.
Wessex HAS.3 website.
The last release is a kind of „combo” boxing containing two kits: Wessex UH.5 / Sea Harrier FRS.1, item no. 1329.
The pictures published on Italeri website are not very big so it's difficult to judge with 100% accuracy but I have noticed few differences in the sprues layout – there are more parts on the sprues in this kit.
