Taurus Models has been rejuvinated. Their new line concerns 1:48 WWI Aero engines. While we see a couple of the usual suspects there are some surprises.
From the new management:
". . .Taurus Models has a new range - I started business activity a month ago, so I'm not well known, but I can assure You about high quality of my products - I have one principle: no simplifications or short cuts. I hope this can be seen in my models. . ."

Oberursel Ur.II 120hp.
LeRhône 9 cyl 110 -120hp.
Mercedes D.I (& D.II) 100-120hp, can be easily recognized by the dual-cylinder water jackets.

Note wholesale prices are based on volume buying.

It sounds to me like your interested in a copy of the catalog? It has prices. The limited res images I have postd are too small to read them but I do have a PDF that Taurus sent me. It is easy to read. If your interested send me an e-mail to: [email protected] Taurus Models does not have a website yet, but there is an e-mail listed in the catalog. I am willing to do this for Aeroscale members only. I do not have a vested interest in this company and am not connected to it in any other way. My only interest is as the Aeroscale editor (EaL) and Early Aviation moderator.

Three Taurus kits arrived yesterday for review. First look not bad. I am thinking these were designed to fit under stock plastic cowlings. Unlike others that have to be modified to fit. More later.

I really like the look of the engines. They would make a nice display set together in a small museum type scene on a base.
