Afterburner Decals have released some sensational decals that covers some impressive markings and camouflage schemes of the 65 Aggressor Squadron's F-15's. Well worth a look.
I will let Afteburner describe their release:
The sheet covers the unit from inception is 2006 thru last month, when my boys were at Flag and hooked a brotha up, plus all the amazing help from the unit. We went ahead as assigned it a new catalogue number, first because we didn't want it buried 5 pages back on the site but mostly because it's a whole new sheet. The sheet is Cartograf printed, and FAR more comprehensive than 48-007.
Some highlights include:
22 different jets, Cs and Ds, all 3 schemes that the 65th flies.
Both COs jets, 80-0010 and 78-0515, with markings for all commanders, Larry Bruce, Tom Bouley, Murray Nance and Paul Johnson, in 1/48 and Nance, Johnson and Bouley in 1/32 covering both tails as well, including the brown ATG flagship in both scales. 1/32 also includes the new splinter scheme on 78-0509.
There are stencils for 2 jets in 1/48 and 1 in 1/32.
That's as complete a coverage as we've ever given any unit. No stones are unturned. If you are looking for a sheet to cover the 65th and not just 1 jet, here you are! Our respect for our customers precludes us from trying to pass off a "firstest with the leastest" sheet...we would have liked to have been "first" but we'll gladly stick with "best".
As you can see the guys at Afterburners are chuffed to bits with this release and rightly so. The price is for the 1/48 release just now, but we will let you know the price of the 1/32 sheet ASAP.
Ref No 48-081
Price: $20
