Italeri have published on their official website a lot of pictures with their latest release in 1:48 scale – a famous Stuka dive bomber in the D-5 variant.
Ju 87 D-5 Stuka
Catalogue number: 2709
Scale: 1/48
Skill: 4
Model Dim.: 22,9 cm
Box Dim.: 344 x 242 x 58 mm
Painting schemes: four – three German (including one of Rudels plane) and one Hungarian.
As you see on the attached pictures, found on producer website, the kit will be a multi-media one as it includes some photo-etched parts – a single fret with additional armour, instrument panel, seat-belts or gun-sights.
Another interesting feature of the kit is engine which can be hidden under the cowling or exposed without need of cutting the fuselage. Of course it will still require some extra care and adding cables, wires and fuel pipes. Flaps and ailerons are made as consolidated with the main wings. Glassing for the cockpit is made as sliced into four separate parts.
You can find this product on the Italeri website.
