Autumn 2005 is really turning out to be the season for 1/48 scale Butcher Birds with Tamiya's announcement of the imminent released of an Fw 190A-8
Not surprisingly, the kit will be based on Tamiya's existing Fw 190F-8 and will feature parts for an A-8 or A-8/R2 Sturmjäger.
Kit No:61095 will include:
Both metal and wooden propellers.
Clear plastic parts and panel stickers for cockpit sides to depicts the A-8/R2's armoured canopy and external side armour.
Decals for a choice of 5 colour-schemes.
With both DML and Hasegawa also bringing out quarter-scale '190s this winter, fans of the aircraft will have never had it so good.
