Five new publications were prepared by Kagero Publishing for June 2013. The following books will be available after 20th June:

B-25J "Mitchell" in Combat over Europe (MTO)

This unique photo album contains numerous B-25J „Mitchell” photographs showing this particular B-25 version participating in air campaign in the skies over southern Europe (MTO). You will find 235 archive photos including 36 in colour published on 80 pages. All images are captioned with author’s descriptions both in English and Polish. Many of the photographs presented here have never been published before. Another interesting feature of this publication are colour profiles of 4 outstanding B-25Js painted by Janusz Światłoń. Cartograf supplied the book with a large decal sheet with 1:32, 1:48 and 1:72 individual markings for 3 planes:

• B-25J-2-NC (s/n 43-27751) coded '50' (previously Roman ‘III’) and named MMR of 447th BS / 321st BG,
  
• B-25J-2-NC (s/n 43-27473) coded '73' and named Paper Doll of 447th BS / 321st BG,
  
• B-25J-2-NC (s/n 43-27704) coded '7A' and named My Naked Ass of 487th BS / 340th BG.

P-47 Thunderbolt with the USAAF in the MTO, Asia and Pacific

P-47 Thunderbolt’s service outside western Europe, in three other major theaters of World War II – the Mediterranean, Asia and Pacific – although perhaps not as publicized, was no less colorful and varied, which makes it an excellent subject for a photo-story. During the long campaign in Italy, Thunderbolt was the best air interdiction aircraft the Allies had; pitted against German and Italian fighters, it proved more than a match. In the Pacific, Thunderbolt easily held its own against Japanese fighters over New Guinea, and later over Japan’s Home Islands. Armed with ‘fire bombs’, bazookas and other ordnance, it earned distinction as close air support aircraft during the invasion of Marianas. Also in China-Burma-India theater the P-47 excelled both as fighter and fighter-bomber, with the renowned Air Commandos, among other units. The book includes not only 138 archive photos, but also colour profiles of 4 aircraft and a big decal sheet with 1:32, 1:48 and 1:72 individual markings for the following planes:

• P-47D-28-RA (s/n 42-29091) coded ‘42’ and named Passionate Patsy, flown by Lt. Ralph Barnes of 310th FS / 58th FG,
  
• P-47D-30-RE (s/n 44-20866) coded ‘53’ and named Schmaltzie/Mercedes, flown by Lt. Frank ‘Duffy’ Middleton of 65th FS / 57th FG,
  
• P-47N-1-RE (s/n 44-87996) coded ‘08’ and named Cheek Baby, flown by Lt. Durwood B. Williams of 333rd FS / 318th FG.
