New release from Hobby Boss.

Pirates Mk.II F4U-1A is the British version of this aircraft, which installed a new higher and broader vision canopy, a two frame hatch.
The pilot's seat height was increased by about 180 mm to improve the pilot's field of vision .
The main difference is the truncated wing tip, which is to accommodate for the smaller British aircraft carrier size.

Interesting. Another Corsair, yet with the FAA wings - didn't know about that. Photo 5 indicates a very good cockpit; might the lattice parts be stringers and longerons? And look at those manifold pipes. I'd like to see this kit firsthand.

Nice but the decals look a bit funky, and suspect re accuracy I would especially like to see photographic evidence for the first scheme. There are some nice alternatives here LINK
