Caraktère Press et Editions have announced a new French-language study of the Corsair. The title will cover the Corsair's career through WW2 and on into the 1950s.
Aérojournal special #21 - Corsair from Pacific and Elsewhere is now available.
To combine under the same cover the various publications that we dedicated to the legandary F4U Corsair was a recurring inquiry of readers.
We've taken the opportunity to add to the exploits of Corsair in the Pacific - with a zoom on two of its mythical units, VF-17 JOLLY Rogers and VMF-214 of the "Hotheads" of "Pappy Boyington" - a passage on British Corsair in the North Atlantic and a chapter on the post-war versions with their operational use in Korea and under the French colors (in particular in Indochina and Suez).
Photos and new color profiles enrich this overview which gives a more complete synthetic vision of its exceptional career.
