Tamiya have annouced 2 new kits for 2007.
Both kits are in 1/48th scale.
With both kits being from different era's, there should be something for everyone to look forward too.

Fairey Swordfish Mk.II

Tamiya's Fairey Swordfish Mk II builds up to the anti-submarine variant of the famous torpedo bomber.
3 different markings are included.
The features unique to the Mk.II, such as metal lower wings, large oil cooler, and rocket armament are all reproduced in this 1/48th scale kit.
The release date is set for late April 2007.
Lockheed Martin F-16CJ Fighting Falcon
Item No:61098
The F-16CJ is the newest F-16 in the U.S. Air Force.
F-16CJ (Block 50) as used for USAF SEAD missions.
The blended wing body design accurately reproduced.
Canopy can be assembled in the opened or closed position.
This 1/48th scale kit comes with a full array of weapon options including AGM-88 Harm, AIM-120C AMRAAM, AIM-9M/9X Sidewinder missiles as well as fuel tanks and targeting pods.
No release date is known as yet.
