Platz have teamed up with Dragon to release the He 219 nightfighter and introduced some new innovations along the way. Along with new photo etch and decals, the reworked kit includes weights and cradle to support it during construction.

Along with the kit itself, Platz have also released a pair of aftermarket upgrade sets in association with Eduard, featuring external etched details and painting masks.
