The Hunter F.6/FGA.9 is making a return with some great new marking options in 1/48 scale.

Italeri has announced a new boxing for the 1/48 scale Hunter. The kit will include five new marking options, to include the RAF, Belgium and Swiss Air Forces. From my understanding, the decala are the only new addition to this re-boxing of the 1997 Academy release.

Instead of swapping out the decals a couple of times, Italeri should replace the 1/72 scale cockpit!

I had forgotten about the tiny cockpit and ejector seat. I remember scratch building a replacement seat and wishing I had bought a resin one. Despite the cockpit it's a nice kit
