Hypersonic Models is working on a 1/48 scale AG-330 start cart that was developed for the Lockheed SR-71’s J58 Pratt and Whitney engines
”My first fully injection moulded kit! And it's not even a plane!! It's an AG-330 start cart, of course in 1:48, with PE and decals. I wanted to make a model of this cool piece of equipment anyway but with the SR-71 design still requiring a few months of work I thought this would be the ideal project to "ease into" the injection moulded kit market before the SR kit is ready. CAD is currently with the tooling company and I aim for a release towards the end of the year. You can build both the early Buick Nailhead and the later Chevy versions from the kit. The gear probe can be built extended as well (height to match my SR-71 kit of course, adjustments may be necessary for other kits).”
