Special Hobby have sent us details of no less than three new CMK detail sets to correct the landing flaps on Aifix's 1:48 Hawker Hunter. The sets cover the F.6, F.6A/FGA.9 and F.58A and each features distinct differences.
Hawker Hunter F.6 Flaps Correction Set - Item #4389
Even though Airfix’s Hawker Hunter offers the landing flaps in the down position, they completely lack their internal construction. Our set fixes this issue and offers a combination of resin and etched parts nicely portraying the missing detail.
Hawker Hunter F.6A/FGA.9 Flaps Correction Set - Item #4390
Even though Airfix’s Hawker Hunter offers the landing flaps in the down position, they completely lack their internal construction. The F.6A and F.9 versions were capable of carrying new, larger fuel tanks, so the cut out in the flaps had to be enlarged too and the internal structure of the flaps was changed as well. Our set reflects all these changes and offers a combination of resin and etched parts nicely portraying the missing internal detail.
Hawker Hunter F.58A Flaps Correction Set - Item #4402
Even though Airfix’s Hawker Hunter offers the landing flaps in the down position, they completely lack their internal construction. The F.58 Export version sported flaps of different structure to those used in the RAF. Our set fixes this issue and offers a combination of resin and etched parts nicely portraying the missing detail.
All the sets are available now, direct from Special Hobby - Price: 13.70 Euros each.
