I was in very early 2003 that I first heard the news in the wind. Mirage was to do a series of WWI aircraft in 1/48 scale. Right in the middle of that list was kit# 481211 Halberstadt CL II and kit #481212 Halberstadt CL II (Bay). Now in 2009 we are blessed to see the first of those kits on the horizon. Mirage seems to be a company that tries to improve with every kit. Just looking at the box contents of this issue I have to say it contains the whole "enchilada." kit parts are highly detailed, PE for the real fiends of model building, the lozenge examples are the "Very dark 5 colour" variant for the upper surface. The normal type for the lower and look very good. instructions are highly detailed. The markings decals have enough for one of three profiles.
