This finely detailed and historically accurate 1/32 scale multi-media assembly kit depicts a seated Royal Air Force or British Commonwealth Fighter Pilot of World War Two dressed and equipped for service in the North Africa/Mediterranean or New Guinea/C.B.I./South Pacific theater of operation. Equipment includes British seat type parachute with quick release, life preserver, Type “D” helmet with Mk. VII goggles (sun shade removed), Type “E” oxygen mask with microphone 10A/12570 and tropical issue shorts and half-sleeve blouse. Knee socks and shoes round out the appearance well documented in photographs of the period.
 
Composed of 13 precision cast pieces, this seated fighter pilot figure contains separate legs for ease of posing, four alternate heads for various goggle/oxygen mask position possibilities, four different arm poses and separate oxygen mask and hose, finely detailed right down to the attachment clamp. Heads, oxygen mask and hose are cast in a non-brittle lead free alloy utilizing a state of the art molding process for excellent detail retention. This process also makes the oxygen hose more easily curved and posed than previous resin offerings. The goggle frames are sculpted without lenses to allow the modeler to easily and realistically simulate crystal clear glass using non-yellowing BSI 20 Minute Finish-Cure Epoxy®. Kit comes complete with instructions and painting guide.
