Olimp Models have released a 1/72 resin model of the diminutive Martin MS-1 Bi-plane. Marking are for the prototype.
The Martin MS-1 was designed and built as naval scout airplane designed to fold and be carried inside sealed tanks on the deck of submarines. Fully loaded, the MS-1 weighed only 454 kilos [1000 lbs]. The MS-1 was cancelled after one of the six built was submarine tested.

Just when I about complete my Esoteric vac kit of this aircraft a resin/injected kit is produced! It is an interesting plane - sub-launched scout. Jeff Leiby
