First lot of decals on. I'm leaving these to dry out tonight and adding the stenciling tomorrow.

I'm calling decalling done an started adding fiddly bits. I used some 240 OCU emblems from a modeldecal sheet I have in the stash. Looks pretty good. I've also got some white decal strips around the tips of the props, no pics of those as they are still wrinkly after a micro-sol treatment to get them to settle down. Some red stripes on each are next. I'm not sure if I should add a red propeller warning stripe around the fuselage. Would that look out of place on an RAF whirlybird?

Not sure if I'll be able to do any tomorrow after work as we're off out to a concert on the night.

Finally calling this one done. Not my best work and I have rushed it during the final stages, but glad to see the back of it. First what-if I've ever saw through to the end and I may do more in the future. I'm giving serious thought to an RAF 6sqn A-10 after seeing the Scottish one here. Personally I can't think of a better mount for the 'Flying can openers' .
So here it is (better late than never)the Westland Tempest HC.1 of 240 OCU circa late 1980's.

I'll add some pics to the campaign gallery a little later tonight. On a final note its been great to be a part of this and I've loved everyones models and encouraging me to see this one through.

Nicely done Stephen. Your ribbon has been awarded and if you get your images in the gallery it will also appear in the Campaign Feature to soon grace the pages of Aeroscale.
