Alley Cat have released news of two sets to convert the Airfix 1/48 Sea Vixen FAW 2 into a FAW 1 that will be released in the near future. The separate conversions, one for six line aircraft of the fleet and the other features test aircraft with some rather tasty paint schemes will include decals and Alley Cat promises a very easy conversion. This month Quickboost have released a number of resin detail parts for mostly WWII types, with the exception of F-5E Tiger II. The resin parts for the Fw Ta 154, P-39 Airacobra flaps and the Spitfire Mk V stabiliser look particularly good.

This month Quickboost have released a limited run vac formed canopy for the Hasegawa 1/32 Bf 109F. On the resin side Quickboost supply a set of props for Trumpeters 1/32 Bf 109F and control levers for the MiG 23 also produced by Trumpeter.

Just the one release this month in 1/72 scale, but what a release. Aires have produced a lovely looking resin cockpit set to go with Kinetic recent release of the F-16I Sufa. The cockpit tub and those bang seats look superb.

Wolfpacs Design latest release is a improved looking radome and probes for the F-16C. Hopefully there will be enough weight in the resin too prevent tail sitting. The probes in the nose are metal. Also included in this release are two resin flaps. Some surgery will be required to fit the nose and flaps.

Latest release from Authentic Decals cover the Focke-Wulf FW-189 Uhu in 1/48 and the A-20 Boston/Havoc in Russian markings in 1/72. Unfortunately Authentic Decals are not specific about which markings are covered, but they do offer some interesting schemes. Stencils are included with these sets.

Bulgarian firm NH Detail has announced an etched detail set for the Art Model 1:72 kit of the Yakovlev Yak-141 (NATO name Freestyle) supersonic VTOL fighter aircraft.

A72-005 will be available through a number of outlets, including NH Details official distributor NiraHobby.

This months resin releases from Quickboost in 1/72, focuses mostly on WWII types. The resin air intakes for the Fw Ta 154 air intakes look exquisite. The resin pitot tubes for the for the Fw Ta 154 and the Ju 88/Ju 188 look a bit delicate though.
