Wolfpack designs have released a 1/32 kit of the F-86F-40 Sabre in the markings of three Republic of Korean Air Force aircraft. Two Mikes have just released these resin replacement ejection seats for the Two Bobs 1/48 T-2 Buckeye kit. Each set contains two beautifully cast ejector seats. Sometimes when I am building a cockpit instrument panel, I wish I had just decals to represent the instrument faces, instead of dry brushing or messing around with PE parts. Airscale have developed decal upgrade that includes a stunning representation of the real aircraft’s instruments to enable you to replace the kit panel insert, and enhance the kit radio parts with an authentic scale alternative. Zvezda have published on their website sprue images of their forthcoming release of the Su-27 as used by Russian Air Forces aerobatic display team, the Russian Knights. The sprues include some missiles, which hints at future releases in a more military guise. I must admit I was surprised when I did a quick check of Zvezda releases to find they have not released a Su-27 before!

Carrying on with Rowan's good news for Luftwaffe WWII modellers, Italeri have announced news of the future release of a JU -87 B2 Stuka. This appears to be a new tooling and not a rehash of the Hasegawa kit as was rumoured. On their website are images of the sprue's and possible markings. Italeri will also include a Junkers Jumo engine with the kit, which is an added bonus for the super detailers. Sprue's look very promising from the photos, but I will leave you Luftwaffe experten to make up your own minds.

Great Wall Hobby have built a fine reputation for their military kits, and I was very impressed by the company's useful Lion Roar 1:48 WW2 aircraft generic detail sets and modelling accessories. Now they are all set to make a bold move into aircraft kit production - and their first kit is a subject that's long been on Luftwaffe modellers' wish-lists as a mainstream kit - the Focke-Wulf Fw 189.

Print Scale Decals have released the following decals in 1/72 reflecting the number of nations using the Kittyhawk during WWII. The first set is for aircraft that served in the Soviet Air Force. The second set comes with some very interesting markings such as Wairarapa Wildcat, Squirrel Bate with a distinctive white tail with black checks and Texas Longhorn are a few I recognise.

Thanks to Michal Sindera for bringing to my attention a range of 1:48 replacement barrels for common WW2 aircraft machine guns and cannons. Produced by RB Model in Poland, the quality looks quite exceptional, and they are also remarkably good value for money - the most expensive sets only working out at about £2.50 plus p&p.
