1⁄35109 Down!
I've been building for a while now and have finished many models as would have appeared when initially delivered for
service-out of the box so to speak. While I find this fulfilling, I have started to look for ways to make my models more unique. My first efforts were to build the uncommon aircraft, prototypes, training aircraft, or one
offs such as this Me 109 Two Seater pictured above.
But, I still felt there was an aspect of these aircraft I was missing in my efforts to document their past. Then, through my reading and research I started to see others touching on an intriguing
aspect-downed aircraft. I saw Shep Paine's "Lady Be Good" and thought to myself, "This is something I need to
try." Where to start? I didn't want to start with too big a project as it could be a total disaster (no pun). I'd always been focused toward the Luftwaffe
so why not another 109 but this time showing what happens when it was used in combat.
