We are up to 26 participants.

The ribbon is now posted on the Campaign Page.

Tom)-. Your Me 110 will be a great addition to the campaign. The Eduard kit debut is what got discussion started on forming a Twin Spinner campaign. I was thinking of doing one myself, but will probably go for something else. My choice is still a secret though. So secret, even I dont know.

Eric)- A Do 335 will work fine. It is one of the aircraft I was thinking of doing. I am glad you will do it since I decided not to.

Victor)- A B-25 J. Great. I did the AM B-25G Gun Nose for another campaign. A B-25 will be a welcome addition. If you like the Revell kit, you might want to check out the AM Kit. It is so good, I went and purchased the "Red Wrath" kit. I will probably get one of the B-25 B kits also. Italieri has also reboxed this same kit. It will take some space though.

Does the a/c need to have two engines for the build? I have a Westland Wyvern from Operation Musketeer that I'd like to do up for this. If not, I do have other twin-engines in the stash - the Wayvern is just DIFFERENT from anything I've built.

Any aircraft of any era will be acceptable if it has two engines and two propellers.

That's straight from the campaign official page, so i know it's right. hope it helps!

I have signed up and will build either a Revell, 1/72nd Chinnock HC.3, Academy, 1/48th Lockheed P-38J Droopsnoot or a Tamiya 1/48th Beaufighter Mk VI. Decision decisions .

Apart from the Academy one, I'll be waiting 12 hours for the decals to conform (if they ever do ) .

I think I'm going to save my Do 335 for when I've got a little more practice under my belt. for now, I'm going to be building the AMT A-20 Havoc, OOB most likely.

Carl, Thanks. There's five possiblities with the kit decals alone, so I'm sure we'll get some variety.

Well, since I need TWO engines and two props I guess I'll have to go with something else. Maybe a MH-47 that's been staring at me from the stash or the Bf-110 underneath it! We still have a while to decide, don't we?? I would definately like to get in on this!

We are up to 30 participants in this campaign. Looks like we will have a wide variety of aircraft represented. We are lacking representation from the early years though. I would also like to see sombody do a twin spinner sea-plane.

An earlier question regarding an already started aircraft. We must wait until the start date. But if the build is packed up in a box, covered with dust, and wasting away, I dont think anybody will be upset if it is brought out for this campaign.

I have the Sea Plane covered, i will be doing the old Matchbox He115- that's a Sea Plane. Probably do it in Swedish markings.

I'd love to do another Gotha, but don't quite want to commit that much time to a project right at the moment.

That Gotha was a great build. How much hair was lost during that build?

Luckily not much hair loss. I spread the rigging sessions out over quite a few days so it didn't get too tedious. The next Gotha however will be in lozenge all over and have the part etched set added. Some way off still as i only do 2 or 3 more involved/difficult builds a year...the remainder of the time i just like things i can do in a couple of weeks or so. Hence the He115 for this campaign. As there's a few other excellent campaigns to do this year as well!

Yes there are some other campaigns that really promise to be great. The Battle for Europe Campaign should be good, as it has a really fine leader.

Yes, and the 2IC is campaign experienced and is ready to back up the campaign leader so it should be the best campaign ever!!

I was really considering hard about building the modelcraft F-82E for this campaign....until I read some reviews last night. Every review basically stated that this model is a real handful so I am passing since I couldnt get it done in 4 months. So I will attempt to build the pro-modeler Me-410 B model but I am unsure as to what version (B1 or B2) it will be. I am looking for some aftermarket decals and will find an aircraft probably out of ZG26. I hope I can get it built in four months!! If not I will be shamelessly begging for an extension......

Nice one Carl, but no - just a suitable place to take photos.

Progress continues - they Easter trip away has slowed progress, but here's the latest as of Yesterday mid morning.

All Three

RAAF TT Mk 21

Dominican Mk X/VI

USAF MK VI

2/3rd's of pre shading done

RAAF TT Mk21

The upper surfaces are to be silver painted, so it's gloss black for alclad, yellow undersurfaces over black will give the depth and preshading of panel lines - I hope

USAF MK VIf

Standard preshading for this one - just lots of it.

Final one to be done tonight, this will be the same as the USAF one, so i won't be bothering with photos until camo is done.
