Is there any interest in a "Twin Spinner" campaign?
This campaign would be for any airplane with two spinners. Any era and any country.

I am in! Great idea.
Would four engines and two spinners be acceptable? Or is a spinner = engine? Under all circumstances I am in.
Good initiative!

And what about planes with two engines, two props but no spinners?
I'm in too.
Here's a great change to start building my Blenheim(s) and that Hanriot H.232 I have in my stash.

Looks as though there may be some interest in this one. Someone needs to step up as Campaign Leader and submit a Proposal, so individuals can "Enlist". The Proposal should also address many of the questions being posted. Link to Guidelines

Hi all!
Four engines and two spinners?
To me It sounds like a He177 "Grief"!
I have lots of twins in my stash...
Mosquito, Blenheim, Anson, Goose, Mohawk, Bronco, Gekko, Betty, Wellington, Havoc, B-25, Ta-125, P-61, Pe-2, Potez....
Plenty to choose from, hard to decide!
Oh, yes!
Count me in on this too!
ANY reason to build a model MUST be a good one, eh?
Cheers!

Hi Carl
Definitely propose this one officially! Even I could join in with a realistic chance of actually building something if you set it to run next spring after the Silly Season at work calms down.
Continuing the fun with definitions... would a contra-rotating prop count as two spinners? It'd be great to see some aircraft like the Fairey Gannet, Douglas Skyshark or Westland Wyvern...
All the best

Exactly.
I have the Revell 1/72 HE 177 A-5 in my stash and has finally managed to track down Eduard masks for this bird. I was simply too lasy to start masking that cockpit myself
Looking forward to this campaign

The girlfriend recently brought me back a Revell Heinkel He 115 (ex Matchbox) from her last stay in Germany. And i have this strange compulsion gathering up to actually build it. So i'd definately be in this one too.

Hi again Carl
Are you going to propose this one officially? - it looks like there'd be a healthy interest. I've even decided what I might build... Planet Models' Westland Welkin.
All the best

Thanks,
Phil.

I'd like to join this campaign too when it starts. The Azur Potez 63.11 could well be my choice as it's an interesting subject.
Philip, I finished my Tamiya Beaufighter on tuesday night, it's a great kit. I loved building i so much I've bought another one. You won't regret it

What version did you build? Have you posted pictures? I have the Night Fighter.
Thanks,
Phil.

It's the MKVI in the Middlestone, azure and Brown colours. The nightfighters the one I just bought actually
I'll get some better pics (with the props and breakable stuff on) and put it in the pre flight check area when I can. At the moment this is all I have. Sadly from my camera phone.

Well this sounds like one for me as well, I'm a sucker for anything with twin Bristols
Beaufort, Beaufighter, Blenhiem, Buckingham, Brigand and so on.
Ahh that feels better, but then almost any twin radial is a thing of beauty
Ciao

There are a lot of interesting builds blined up for this campaign ensuring that this will be a winner of a campaign.
Is Carl or somebody else going to submit this?

Sorry everybody. I have been out of the loop for a few weeks. Out of town, Holidays, relatives, whacking golfballs, and working on a build-review that seems to be taking forever.
I don't have the time to run this one. I would be very happy if Jesper (or somebody else) would propose it and decide on the specifics.
In my stash, P-38, B-25, Me 110, A.E.G. G-IV, B-17, Me 262, and a Do 335. My original intent was two two engines driving two propellers. But I will leave it up to whoever wants to run with this one to decide.
I am in for the build.

I would be in for this campaign. I'm not sure if I could run the campaign due to time--but I would offer to help someone else run the campaign.

Since I got promoted at work I do not really have the time to run a campaign, but I would still participate. Also having run 3 campaigns over one year makes me feel I have done my bit for a while
Hope somebody else could start this one up.
