Hi all,

I think this was my first and last vacuform kit!

Here's some more about the FuG-218 antenna (sorry I wrote 219 earlier )...

The photo is the only one I have of the real aircraft. The artwork is from the decal sheet. I can indeed cut a bit from the front antennas but other than that it's close enough for me.

I'm looking forward to see your Weihe in 15 years Rowan. I will remind you of that when the moment comes!

Awesome build, Jean-Luc!! That's a proud and unique addition to anyone's collection. Good luck at the show.

Fabulous work, as usual!

Man, I hope to get my Blenheim done soon.
Summer's out, school back in, and it's distracting my life and activities in quite a bit.

Hi all!

Thanks for your kind words...

Eetu, unfortunately the vacations are over for me too. I go back to school monday. This will indeed mean less time for the hobby...

Hi Jean-Luc
Wow. Top class. And a Vac to boot.

Maybe I should dig out my couple of vacs. Well I could at least get them out and look at them.

Ahh...I see what you mean. 'Vac-ation'.
Something to do on your summer break. Build a Vac!

JL I hope in a little while you get all nostaljic about this and do another Vac.

Many thanks, I've really enjoyed following this.
Cheers

This is a lovely job Jean-Luc!
The figures and the vehicle look familiar
Will you be taking this into school as your "What I Did In The Summer Holidays" presentation?

Hi Nigel!

I don't think our new school director would be happy to know that I present models of WWII armament to the kids... though the latter would be probably interested!
The vehicle and the figures are indeed from the dispersal diorama I did last year.
