I'm so sorry about your loss. Perhaps modeling will help you, it helped me many times to pass through bad times.

Hugh,
I know all too well the pain of losing a beloved animal companion. There is no cure for the feeling of loss except for the passage of time. It is small conselation to you, but with all of us who love the animals, my heart along with yours is broken. My prayers go out that you and your family will heal and allow youself to enjoy another animal companion in the future.

We have many four legged family members (Ding-a-ling is the long hair tortie in my picture). Losing them is so hard. My heart goes out to you and your wife.

Greetings good fellow Hugh,
My family raised hunting and show dogs for many years. We lost all of them as time went by. The animals in our care rely on us to do the right thing for their lives. We must remember that - and that they are never given to us only lent. My respects and prayers for you and your good wife.

I'm back, and I'm bad.
Last night I took some photos that I had taken at the Point Cook RAAF museum of the pully ports on the SE5a that they have there and manipulated them in photoshop to print as decals on white Testors Decal paper.
This I did (the printing) and then applied these to the wings and horizontal stab of my SE5a.
I will try to take some photos tonight and post.
For anybody thinking about using Testors decal paper, please be aware that it is a lot thinner than some others... and therefore, care needs to be taken when applying the decal. They do however lie down dead flat and conform to all contours on the prepared surface immaculately.
Cheers,
Hugh
PS. The Breeder of our dearly missed Sienna offered us her full sister to purchase. We did not have to think twice. She is now at home with us and is settling in well. She is two years younger than Sienna and is already nearly as tall as she was. That's gunna be a BIG horse.
Thanks to all those who expressed their sympathies. Wife and I apreciated it very much.

Hereis the original photo of the Port Upper wing access panel that I took at Point Cook last year.
And here is the "photo shopped" sample that will be printed as a decal.
Once printed to the appropriate scale, I had two different sizes of image that were then transfered onto the wing surfaces.
They aint perfect by any means, but I feel that they are a great improvement on the decals supplied in the box.
More soon.
