The windscreen looks like it's too shallow of an angle.

Hi guys,

I'd like to get in on the campaign. Would this count as a "twin boom'?

Mark

Wow, what a machine. Checking descriptions I found this info "attached to the forward compartment were triangular section diverging booms."

Thats well and truly good enough for me as I would really love to see diversity here. Go for it !

Look back in this thread to July 31 and you will see a link to the unofficial campaign page where you can sign up. Once there is 10, it will be made public.

OK guys, I'm excited about the campaign!! I have one other build to include along with the SSW R.I.......................................................

and all the "bells and whistles"

This will be a large build in 1/48. I'm assuming that it will qualify for the "twin boom", if not, let me know.

Get in there and sign up.

I am envious. I wouldn't have room for a 1/72 He 111Z much less a 1/48! Do you have some large display case for your finished models?

Hi Mark, your Heinkel is a definite starter as well. And I agree, your display cabinet must be as big as my house !!

Guys,

I don't know where I'll put it when it's done, but I've always liked this version of the He-111.

That J21 is such a cool looking unit, we need at least 1 in this campaign.

Hi Justin, check out my latest post on "what the postman brought today", the P-61 is probably my favorite plane and I have 3 in the stash, but when I get around to it I think I will do all 3 at the same time with some after market goodies so it will be a long term build, not really suitable for a campaign.

Excellent choice, will you do the 1/48 or the 1/72 scale kit?

Cheers, D
