Hi all and happy new year!
I'll start my build soon as well, as my DH2 is aproaching completion.

One question: do anyone have to show the starting date of the build? I saw on Armorama pictures of opened boxes on the background of a newspaper to show the date....

A bit funny, on my side, as this resembled too much a ransom request for some kidnapped model!!!

Hi Edoardo,
it is not necessary to show the starting date, the fellas in armorama are just such a nitpickers

Hi,

Is it too late to join? I was going to do either a Blue Max Halberstadt CL.II, an Eduard Hannover CL.III or a Copper State Hansa Brandenburg W.12. If anyone is interested I have an Aeroclub RE 8 that I will most likely not build.

Yours in glue,
Jesse

Mark , what ever you have planned will be a good one ! Hope that you are able to join in on the build

Stephen , two builds - if time will let you ! Would really like to see the FF built for this one

Hi Jim ! If time permits you , it would be fantastic to have you on my friend !

Hey Edo ! No Tuomas is right . We don't have to do this at all . It's not in the rules . Besides , tanks dudes just like to be picky about things
Looking forward to seeing your DH-2 when shes done

Hi and Thanks Tuomas ! How would you like to be the wingman for this one ?

Hello Jesse and welcome to the GB ! Glad to see you here . The Bluemax kit is a great kit . Soft on some of the details , but does build to a very attactive model . Dwanyewilley ( Dwanye had his build as a feature here )truely outstanding ! Love the older Eduard kit's and always a great choice .

Heres the RE8 from Airfix, not too bad from 1969 tooling ,but the struts needed some cleaning up to get them to fit.
This will be a OOB build to try out some rigging ideas for my Felixstowe.
I can't get outside to prime it yet because of the weather

I'm quite supprised how sturdy these 1/72 biplanes are
More soon,
Andy

Okay WWI Two Seaters: I guess this is the place to post pictures. So, here is my WNW LVG. It is a great kit, takes some time to do, especailly all that lozenge and rib strips but well worth the effort.

I would highly recommend this kit.

Cheers

Mark, that'sr really inspiring. I'm just not sure if I'm inspired to sell off all my kits and supplies and go find another hobby or try to 1/4 as well as this
