Thanks Hermon and Anthony,
I decided to tare out the solder and replace it with the proper size as after something was said all I did was steam on it all day so change it I did and I found an easy replacement in a place I never in a million years would have thought of.I'm sitting there eating lunch today and looking at a sandwich tie
Not only are they super ply-able there the right thickness good bye guitar wire. just strip the plastic off and whola

Looking good ‘J…love the cockpit especially the harnesses. I wouldn’t sweat the hydraulic lines; heck I think it looked good enough. Maybe it’s just me but it seems that this hobby has become to serious and not enough fun. In the last few years I’ve seen less and less modeling blogs and postings because of this. Ok I’ll stop right here.
Anyhow it’s really looking great and can’t wait for the paint to get started. Be sure to blog each step of the painted procedure.
Happy Modeling,
Joe

See what I mean about the wire harnesses. BTW, changing the Hydro line diameter was the correct move, if that's what you did. Also note there are also SES air lines in the bay as well, not to be confused with Hydro lines.
Also take note of the ECS ducts. Not seen are the number 3-5 fuel pumps, mounted on the sidewalls.

Hobby-
–noun, plural -bies.
1. an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation: Her hobbies include stamp-collecting and woodcarving.
Guys like you ruin this web site for kids and there parents because they visit and see that you are nailing somebody because there Hydro lines supposedly aren't the right diameter(I guess your blind) or the canopy is the incorrect shape or the dihedral is all wrong. Why would that encourage anybody to build a model?I'm not going to continue to argue this anymore as it has been argued till the sun comes up on other forums.I'm not entering my model in an exact replica contest if you can come up with an exact replica on any kit fine I congratulate you on being the worlds best modeler .
A lot of people forget why this web site is here and it will be the down fall of the hobby eventually
So please I kindly ask you to take your negativity somewhere else

Spare me the “Hobby Definition”. You can’t stamp everyone’s hobby interest and/or seriousness with such a basic definition.
Guys “like me” ruin this website; get real! I often post remarks based off of real airframe experience, not to mention I’ve been modeling for over 30 years. I’ve helped out quite a few modelers on this and many other forums. I’ve received hundreds of personal messages and emails over the years from modelers expressing their gratitude for my responses. It’s only a few that take offense when I criticize “inanimate objects”.
People ask how a kit is, or certain products I respond with a “no bull” replies, largely based on fact. There is NOTHING wrong with calling out shape inaccuracies or other errors kits and aftermarket sets may have. It’s all good information and there’s no crime in telling the truth. After all, we’re talking about a “products” here, and in addition to being modelers, we’re also consumers.
Also, while I may be critical (and justly so) of some aircraft model kits and accessories, I haven’t be so of other’s work. I often praise the nice work I see be built on this website and others, and in this case made an open suggestion as to the detailing of the Weapons bays; but I guess that fact escapes you. But hey, if you feel you need to takes my post out of context, just be prepared for a retort to put things back into perspective.
So before you go suggesting I take my alleged negativity elsewhere, maybe you should take you’re “apologist attitude” somewhere else…

Justin,
May be salt in the woond, but please bear with me. What size solder did you use? I managed to snag a roll of .015/ .010? solder solder somewhere. Seems like that would be close in 1/48 (.75 -.50 OD). I've used it in 1/72 kits and it seems to get the message across well enough even if it isn't dead nuts perfect.
That weapons bay seems suitably crowded enough to me.

Finally I got some stuff done the weapons bays are good enough to me and I have alot of touch ups to do because the ca pulled up all the paint on the sides so I will get the air brush and go at it tomorrow. The weapons bays on the sides got the same treatment.
I should start going through the masking process pretty soon still have some stuff I want to detail but I will walk you through step by step

She’s coming along pretty good ‘J. One thing I never had the patience for was adding in detail in bays like you have. I think when I get back working on the Prowler I will follow as you. As always will be following.

Looks good. I think I'll stay with 1/72, since there's less space for that kind of detail....

Alright so started painting process and I masked what I could and realized that I should have just did it in reverse in the first place so I will just come back and re-spray the Bays white and then detail.
Today I sprayed the first color down using a 50/50 mix of Hawk eye hobbies Raptor sheen and Model Master FS36251 Navy aggressor Grey Enamel as they dont make it for Acrylics yet.It is a very cool effect actually and came out really nice.......what masking I could do....
I tried to light it so you could see the effect....
Here is some close ups on the sheen you can sorta make it out.... but the effect does kick in just like the real one when you move around the Pc.
So now I will let dry then spray with a coat of future and mask for the camo scheme

I noticed your sheen is about one shade off. Unacceptable.
Seriously, the weapons bay is the total shiznit. Watching you and Joe has really gotten me into the whole detailing arena. I've been on the lookout at work for various sizes of solder and wire for my Prowler build. I picked up a whole 3 lbs. roll of tiny wire (for hanging drop ceiling grid) for a couple bucks the other day. That stuff is great and can be bent into any angle or shape possible.
Keep going man. As usual, I like it......and I'll be stealing all of your ideas for my future builds.
Hermon

I sometimes wonder if I should be doing the same thing myself, it's just that my often clumsy fingers don't seem to agree with me
Justin: I wasn't really into the Raptor, but I'm liking your build and may give it a chance, perhaps in a display with an F-15 variant. I think those lines in the weapons bay would really be trying my patience... but if you can do it, then there's no reason I shouldn't give it a shot

Wow! Great work, Justin. That weapons bay is really stunning! You have to display this one on a mirror.
