Thanks, I'll get started.
The Fokker DXXI was a cheap rugged fighter developed in the mid 1930s for use in the Dutch East Indies. It was also licensed for production in Finland where it proved to be a useful fighter in the Winter War and early years of WW2. It had fixed landing gear which made conversion to skis a fairly simple task.
I'll be doing the 1/72 PM kit, it is very basic but with a little effort I think it will build into a decent model. It offers decals for a Dutch or Finnish aircraft, and regular wheeled landing gear or skis.

Almost closing time at the Ski-Inn, anybody still building ? I have had a couple of tries at scratch-building the skis for my Jug but I'm still not happy, so I might have to shelve it for some time in the future when I have a bit more bench time available.
On the other hand, if any other builders out there are still in-progress and need a little more time (yes, my hand is up in the air here) perhaps I could petition the higher powers for a little extension ???
Cheers, D

Well folks ski season is over, the gear is packed away and the grass is starting to show throught the snow !!
Thanks to everybody who contributed here, builders and spectators alike. I have awarded ribbons to the 4 who completed builds, beautiful work guys. My build stalled with my limited scratchbuilding skills letting me down on the skis, but I'll get it done one day and give myself ribbon. Aaronw, stay in touch with the little Fokker mate, you'll get a ribbon as well once you get it across the line.
See you all in the next Campaign.
Cheers, D
