Great campaign. I see I am a little late for any of the sets except the F-2 decals.
Would it be possible to share a set? I see most of the sets have decals for 2-4 aircraft. I would like to build one of the F-5E Red Flag Tigers. Does not matter which one.

Hi Jesper.
Have a word with Stefan [stefanBuysse] to see what he thinks. It is going to be very difficult as there are so many decals: markings and stencils to separate. There is nothing stopping you investing in a sheet and joining the campaign that way Jesper. They are outstanding in their quality and research, well worth the money.
All the best.

Hello- I'm a brand new enlistee...Followed Scott's heads up from Zone-Five. I'm normally an adversary-focused kinda guy, but will pull out one of the F-2s in my stash if the last sheet is still up for grabs...
Thanks!

Hi,
Like Harv, I came here after Scott gave us the heads up on Zone-Five.
I know that the Afterburner team get a kick out of seeing their decals put to good use. So, it's pretty natural to share an option from a free sheet with an experienced campaigner like Jesper.
Because it's a free sheet, as soon as it's March, this one goes to the top of my list of priorities in building models.
Cheers, Stefan.

Thanks for the help with decals, Stefan. I appreciate it.
Does anybody know what decal solvent to use for the afterburner decals. Micro sol will work?

Hi Jesper.
Excellent question. Contact Scott at Afterburner Decals and ask his advice, I am sure he will be more than happy to help. If you do could you pass on the info to the guys on this campaign please.
All the best.

Does anybody know what decal solvent to use for the afterburner decals. Micro sol will work?
I use Micro sol 99% of the time, and it worked well for my Afterburner VF-84 Victory Cat, F-14A.
I also used Micro sol with Fightertown, TwoBobs, Cam, Super Scale and so on.
For me the trick is to use it lightly. I'll put down plenty of water where the decal goes then use Q-top to soak up. Then using another Q-tip I'll dip into Micro sol and lighly paint it onto decal, sometimes I may do this two or three times.
One thing I found though, when I use Furture Floor Wax as a gloss coat, then using Micro, the gloss coat will become sticky. No real big problem as I only had one problem, most likely due to using to much Micro sol.
Happy Modeling,
Joe

Hi Joe, I had this problem too. I wasn't giving the Future enough tie to fully cure. While it feels complete after 24 hours or so, give it a good 72 hours and it will be rock hard. I use Solvaset over it after this amount of time, which is considerably hotter and no softening what so ever. While it is a while to wait, I'm sure there are some other items that could be dealt with during this time. Hope this helps. "Q"

Hi All.
My victim arrived Thursday, Tamiya's F-16C/N Aggressor kit. I have not built a modern Tamiya kit so it will be interesting to see how it goes together.
Joe, Q is right about the Future. I have had mine go milky a few times but then it seems to clear itself up.. no pun intended, but if I leave it for a few days it doesn't do it. Problem solved!
Now if the decals could arrive I could start planning...

Sorry Justin, no idea what's happened to your decals. I put a return address on the envelopes as well. I am going to try using a different sort of envelope next time and select a guinea pig to send it to to see what happens. Very, very annoying.
