Thanks Justin for a wonderful campaign!
Thanks all for the supportive comments, and yes, pics are in the gallery!
Awesome that even in the last minutes we still have traps!
Magnus, we really missed you this time around but your build log makes one heck of a loiter BarCap shielding the carrier group after we will all be parked out in the sun on the bow! I will keep checking it.

Tim, Nicola and Allen - well done on your successful traps! Great looking builds and a credit to you.
Justin, unfortunately, I didn't make it with my 'Cat and had to divert to land. Am very disappointed as really wanted to nail this one. Here's the scene on my workbench just a few minutes ago...as you can see, still a lot of work to do.
I rebuilt the wings on this kit as I wanted to show the flaps and slats extended. Looks only ok-ish now that I see the photo on screen. Will buy a Hase or Fujimi kit the next time and save myself the work!
Here's the main fuselage section in TPS scheme...kinda hard to see in the light but trust me, it's there! I also cut out the speedbrake so I could show that open too..
Big thanks to everyone for their words of support and to Justin for organising a great GB. Even though I missed the deadline, I will keep going with this build and will open a thread so you can see this one finished.
Thanks for reading and enjoy your modelling Tomcatters'...
Best wishes,
Dermot

Dermot- you have good progress going there don't let this impend on your build its coming out nice man.I look forward to the log it looks like its going to turn out nice just take your time and enjoy it
To everyone else thanks for contributing to my campaign in some form or another i enjoyed it and look forward to seeing more of you in later campaigns.
After finishing the current campaigns i have running at the moment I will be taking a break as I'm running low on time which is making it hard to meet deadlines and I don't want my hobby to turn into work.So i received a set of ZOTZ 1/48 p-47d decals today with some really nice nose art that I wanted to build and really put some detail into.but as usual there ended up being two other birds on the sheet that I want to build as well so be looking for those in the future.

Cheers Magnus and Jesper, it was a bit of a mad sprint at the end.
