Hi
Long time ago I did post here and now it´s time again Just trying to get something complete for a change
I jumpstarted this Wingnutter two weeks ago and the interior is done at least.

I did not find that seat to nice, so I made a new one from brass and fishinglines.

Hope u like it so far

Welcome back Larsa, your time away from the bench has not affected your skill. Wonderful to see you here and posting again. Are you going to put this in the KotS campaign?...I think you must.

When I first came to this forum you were one of my great inspirations.

Well , look what hte cat dragged in !

Welcome back my friend ( big hug )

Nice start on the Bristol so far Lars , nothing wrong with your skills . You still have that magical touch What marking option are you going with on this bird ?

Now you do know that I can't just let this go , but are you going to finish the FF-33 and the strutter you started way back before you went missing in action in the garden ? hehehehe

Hi Terri(Big Hug)
For the markings, I´ll just ordered the "Brisfish" Decals from OHmodels. It´s a limited printed decal.
And the FF33 and Strutter are still on the topcorner off the bench,so they will be build soner or later.
For the moment I´ll have to focus on this build, so I can get anything complete/finished just for once.
Lost in the garden yep, the spring is coming over here and I´ll just wait and hoping for a quick snowmelt. As they say "Winter is nice on postcards"

Hi Stephen

It´s nice to get welcomed here again, so much to read on this site, so many new friends to make and there´s also the old dogs in the barn .
I started up this Brisfit when two more boxes from Wingnuts was delivered in my mailbox. My wife told me "If you going to order, you´l have to build them"Yep, she´s friendly sometimes.
So the newly from Wingnuts are the Roland and the RE 8.But these boxes is another story.

Hi
Now Thunderbirds website is up and running again. Terri here´s a picture off the decals I will use,I ordered a set two days ago and now I´m waiting and building up the Brisfish...The decal is screen printed by Fantasy Printshop in the UK, so I´m guessing it´s good stuff I´m waiting for.

Here´s a link to Thunderbird models
[url=http://www.thunderbirdmodels.co.uk/product.php?id_product=139[/url]
The Falcon engine is now glued up and painted, I would not detail this up(witch is a shame),I like the Bris with the clothes on

The interior is in place and the fuselge is glued together, just tiny filler was needed. Beside the fuselga and engine you also can see Rodens new 72-scale Nieuport 24b and RPM M.M.G.S scout car in 35-scale.

Hi Larsa and welcome back:

I will be watching your build on this, as it is one on my list as well. Good to see you back in the saddle or back at the bench. Your brass and fishing line seat looks great. Yes, winter is hanging on here in the great upper midwest of Minnesota and Wisconsin, no early spring here, so time to model, when I am not moving or putting stuff away. Join the build Larsa, just might motivate you to finish it. I have the checkerboard decal for this kit by the same outfit.

Best

And I thought that the WingNuts seat didn't look so bad.

A magnificent scratch build on the seat, sir. It's in a class by itself.

Thanks
The kit set from Wingnuts is god, but if you put a homemade one in the rest of the interior step up attention of details.
The fuselage is glued togehter and only a small amount off filler was neded on the underside.

So from here my attention is on the wings and tailareas, preparing them for primer and preshadings. Once again I´m going to cut all off those tiny strips off maskingtape

Hopefully the decals will come from OH-models this next week, then I´ll be back with my first comments about it.

Wow, beautiful decals. Not surprising though, I believe these are the people who print Pheon's decals too.

She is going to be stunning Larsa.

Hi Larsa,

Great and fast progress on the Bristol – those decals will really et yours apart form the rest of the F2bs, (the decals look like good quality too).

Looking forward to more as it develops...

Thanks
The wickerseat took me four day to fix up. I could have done a second one but the first one was alomst okej. All that woodgraining took me some nights with the workinglamp on . The only thing I can say about Wingnuts and there´s etched seatbelts is I do not like them at all.For the R( project Í will use HGW`s, they must be better.

I was planning to handpaint this scheme for this bird and was very positive when Rogga told me that OH-decals had them.Just one off my favorite schemes.

Hi RAGIII
Big smile here, you´r still out there, thanks my friend.

Now I can tell you folks why you mostly have seen the Bristol Figther kit without the enginecovers.. They don´t fit that good,You´ll need some fine work with a dremel to get inline with the fuselage. I´m not disepointed, just getting you a headsup on this. Take your time in this stage and it will turn out nice anyway.

Pics comming sone again.
