IMHO , a second Fok DvII (Either Alb or OAW will use 320017 - no inside info just the same distance between the Alb DV & Dva), leaving the Fokker E-I and Salmsom to take 2 more #s, leaving 4 #'s up for grabs and 1 day left !!!!!!

8/19/11-- OOPs forgot the Sopwith Snipe so that leaves only 3 -#s left and only 9 hours left to wait.

Having made the mistake of answering the phone I'm off to the "mostly retired again but still can't let go" workplace for a few days of late shifts. I'll get home at mid night tonight and have already planned my return.......one good measure of single malt scotch to wind down, pull my chair up to the computer, onto the site, and view the news; hopefully it will be out by then.
This event has certainly spooled up the forum; WNW are very good marketers in addition to their supurb products. The results should cause a real frenzy!
Cheers,
Lance

Lance – I like your plan, especially the single malt part of it
I might stay up a bit later tonight, to perhaps catch the news before I turn in for the night. Its 9 PM Friday here now, and 7AM Saturday in Wellington...
In terms of marketing WNW are some of the best I've seen, and every marketing directors dream – they don't even have toadvertise themselves anymore – we all do it for them

I too am looking forward to what they are going to release. I like the idea as it is something new, it may be something that none of us could imagine, like they did at Christmas. Threw a lot of speculators off. It was fun and this going to be fun to see what it is. With my ever growing stash, I am not going to run right out and get it, basement is still a mess, and will be for at least another month, but coming along, and then there are the repairs to the NINAK, and the SE.5 that have to be made. I hate it when ham fisted people touch my models. Fortunately, they are small easy repairs. But I digress. I was surprised to see the EZ line on their site. I like working with it.
Best
Mark

It is, indeed, the Pfalz D.XII
Jamo called his wife and she posted on the new place for us.

No Troy, I meant the actual model with the box art, instructions, markings etc etc.
I am a little disappointed as the Pfalz was at the bottom of my wants list from the new kits coming out. Oh well. Now just wait until September to order whatever comes out.

I almost was going to say.....I'm disappointed as well. Like many I had been hoping for something completely new. Fact is the Pfalz was on my "top 3" wish list and I guess were all getting a little spoiled. Things are pretty good when you look at the list of what's on the pre-release list and consider that the total inventory is a good several years or more of building the best presented kits on the market. (Exception being Walleni, WNW can't possibly keep up with him!)
So damn, I just have to content myself with building the four I have waiting, maybe get a DXII in Sept. and by then who knows, the Snipe.....Tripe.......DH2...... or Fokker DVII may be available. What did I ever do to deserve this??
It sure was fun speculating though! Now I too am off to the rack for some much needed sleep.
Cheers,
Lance

Did really hope for at least one variant of DVII... seems like the promised *coming this year* in 2010 isnt ever gonna arrive. It's the kit I got most excited about when WNW first announced their new line of kits, and the one they have yet to deliver.
I don't understand their reasoning, it's beyond me but each beautiful kit they release just frustrates me somewhat as I wait less and less patiently fora DVII.
*meant as a pointed joke..more pointy than a pointy thing. And thats really pointy!
Just seen pics elsewhere, seems WNW have done the loz in a pheon DV/DVa style, interesting, though limits the variance of course, But I have to say it looks lovely even if it aint a DVII
Still can't cure the AMS even with sausage finger implants & olde eyes.

A paradox of history: although Germans have lost both world wars they managed to dominate the world, this time the modeling world. See the bunches of Panters, Tigers, Messerchmitts, Focke-Wulfs, Schwalbes, Fokkers everywhere. And now...Pfaltzes.

Folks,
Quick apology to Warren (Warreni) for the mis-spelling of his Callsign earlier. I'm sure everyone knew who I was refering to..........if there were more then one of "Warreni's" capability a shortage of available kits could easily result!
Now, need to get over to the Albatros Publications site and perhaps order their new Pfalz DXII Special before the "run" gets out of hand.
Cheers,
Lance
