Now we know that a new WNW kit is going to be released at the NZ Nationals next weekend, what model do you all think it is going to be?
Unfortunately I will have to wait to get mine as I can't afford to fly to NZ to buy a model...

You may be right, I may be crazy.

Whatever it is, it's sure to have too many wings for me !

If you sold off 0.1% of your stash Warren you could fly across and stay for a month !!

What if it is the Fokker Eindecker? I issue a challenge to you to build one when they are released..

You may actually be right there mate! It has only increased by one or two in the last week so the stuff I am putting in their feed is slowing down their breeding..

Well, they still do not have the Camel in their offer. That's one of my types. Another one, maybe a bit over the top, is Zeppelin Staaken R.VI

My money is on the F.E.2b, the reason why, is because it was the only prototype that appared in the last show with a paintjob on – so it seems to have come the longest in development.
Mind you I could be very wrong – I have been on numerous occations before, and I never saw the DH9 and Hansa coming last time... But I do hope its the F.E.2b, or the Fokker DVII

I,m betting on the DVII; I beleive it was rumoured (long time ago) as "the next" and kept drifting further into the future. If so I hope it comes in a multi-variant "options included" format, he said in a wishful tone. Marketing -wise I suspect that is not the best choice thus not likely.
Bottom line, any new kit from this company is great news to our community!

The guys from my club hat went to the Nat's said they heard is was going to be something that has not been previously mentioned at all. Anyone else hear that? Or am I asking something that is already outthere... like my request to see the DH.9a from the Nat's when there was a thread already

Yes, it seems we might get a peek of the newest WNW releases on about Aug. 20 -21, 2011.

Mark,
Now you've really wound me up! I had checked on the WNW News Site earlier, then seen it earlier today on Stephen's post (below yours) On going back just now I admit that it could just be me wishfully " reading into" the wording however I think you are on to something. The WNW banner on the Expo Poster says "all new model being premiered" which to me means as you described it; a previously unmentioned model. Now the imagination goes wild, just can't imagine what the subject might be but what a lot of fun in trying!
So, my best fantasy.......a Camel with a choice of variants. Anyone else willing to share their most wistful thoughts?
Cheers,
Lance

When I jumped from WWII aircraft all the time to armor, it was the Dragon kits the lured with detail and high part counts. I started with them and stuck with them. My 1st WWI aircraft was a WNW. I started with them and will likely stick with them for awhile.
Now I don't know what quality kit may already exist, but keeping my previous thought in mind, I will add me "wish" for the big surprise reveal.

Pfalz D.XII,
Rumpler C.IV,
DH.2,
Fokker Eindecker E.II,
Sopwith Triplane,
Fokker D.VII, late schwerin
Sopwith Snipe
FE.2B

– Oh I like surprises, especially ones from New Zeeland! What could it be? A HP O/400, or a Felixstowe? My mind boggles...
But I actually still think/hope for the F.E.2b – reason? (apart from really wanting one) The new Windsock Datafile...
Anyway – by next weekend we'll know for sure, and whatever the kit(s) it is I'm sure it'll be a great one that will fulfill the whishes of many modelers.

That is good logical deduction there Mikael.

But I am hoping that logic doesn't work here and we get something like a Macchi Flying Boat or similar.
We only have a week to go before we find out.

Back to WnW new kit speculation, imho it will be something not announced or even hinted at. Something akin to the J 1, HB W-29 and Gotha. In the final analysis it ill be what Peter Jackson wants.
