Don't forget, guys,

WNW usually releases several kits at one time.

I'm sure that there will be one to suit almost everyone in the October release.

Have you built a WNW kit? Have you built a WNW Albatros and a Roden Albatros? Notice much differenece between the two? That will answer your question as to why you would want a WNW DH-2..

Actually the Roden DH2 is a pretty good kit that builds really well – in my humble opinion ofcourse

Now I belive/think the WNW DH2 will include a two bladed prop and the preasure tank under the wing configuration – so that may be a good reason to get this one too...

Very interesting comments. I love my DH 2, and I most appreciate the WNM for producing the Outstanding WWI models without repeating the Camel and the Dr.I. And I realise I have a dozen Albatros from the last thirty years. But I appriciate those of us who do love the airplanes we do. But that FE, Arch Whitehouse started that love 50 years ago. (Standing on the cockpit edge shooting over the wing. OMG!

Go to my gallery to see an interesting DH 2.

For me the love of the FE started when I first read the book "One spring in Picardy" by William Stanely. It was my dads paperback – and I now have the same copy it in my bookcase. I re-read it a couple of years ago – and it was still very good! Anyone looking for good WWI flying fiction – get hold of a copy. You can smell the hot oil in the Beardmores as you read

Sept 26, New pics posted to the WnW Models page !! More new photos posted on the Snipe, Fok E.I,E.II/III and E.IV.

Of particular interest are new photos of the Fokker D VII that are different from those posted earlier. They now show different cowl panels (these are early Fokker built versions, low exhaust) than what was shown earlier (Final OAW version panels w/high exhaust ) on Jamo's GWA photospread !!!!!

Got to love those early DVIIs, Streaky painted body, and Lozenge wings – very businesslike. I guess we'll be getting more than one version (I read that WNW are going to produce all major versions). Wonder if it'll be in one och several kits??? Well – hopefully we'll know soon.

I wonder what would market better, an "omnibus" version kit with lots of options or the competitions' approach with individual kits for separate versions? I'd certainly prefer the first approach; and probably order at least two to start. The After-marketers are probably in a frenzy as we speak!

Cheers,
Lance
