@Diego - nice paintjob on the Corsair. can't wait to see the finished plane.
Quick update from me (no pics) I've put a gloss coat on ready for decaling. Will post some photos once the decals are on.

Hey All,
I'm back. It's been a while. Where does the time go?
Work resumes and continues on the big 1/32 F-16A. Using pins and rods to hold and reinforce the major parts:
Added more plumbing to the gear wells to 'busy them up'. Not technically accurate, but they look less baren now:

A quick update; finished decalling the 109 although a couple of touch-ups are required. It will then get another gloss coat for weathering.

Got the paint on my He115

Now for the (lousy) Matchbox decals. But what can you expect from 40 year old decals.

Hi Wizard!
Are you sure you have used correct type of balkenkreuzes? White crosses on the wings upper surfaces of an early 109 look quite uncommonly to my eyes...

Lots of good work and progress going on in this campaign.
Put a layer of primer on the ol' -16 fuselage:
I doubt this one gets done by the campaign cut-off date, but there is hope for the little Me-262.

The F-16 is coming along nicely, Keith. Very nice details.
Nice He 115, adam. Looking forward to see more as your work progress.

Here is my build for this campaign. The old 1/48 Monogram Do 335. I have seen a lot of good builds based on this kit so I hope it will treat me well.
I only got to do the cockpits earlier, so now it is time to pick this up. For a kit this old the detail is not that bad although not up to todays standards.
This will be build as a night fighter, so a little bit of "what if" included here in terms of markings although the prototype did fly, but never fought.

I'm enjoying your work here, Keith, Diego, D, and Adam!
...and welcome aboard, Jesper! I remember that kit from way long ago. As a teenager, I didn't do it justice, but I remember one of my first camo paint jobs on it.
Keep it up, gang!

From the big F-16 to the tiny -262.
Did some airbrushing!! Whoo-hoo! Not perfect, but I am happy and can live with it.
Thanks for all the kind words gents.
Keep the work coming. Time is running out.

Hi Michal it does look odd but this is as directed by the kit instructions. The only picture I can find of this plane is in Squadron/Signal Messerschmitt 109 In Action. There is a small glimpse of cross on the wing in an unusually close to the fuselage position and to my eyes the wing paint continues between the white of the crosses. Now I'm waiting for all the evidence to the contrary...
Nice builds and interesting subjects in the recent activity, can't wait to see them finished.
Keith how do you go from 1/32 to whatever the me262 is?!? (1/144?) The mental transition would do my head in not to mention remembering to dial down the airbrush!

Ok, I buy it. The white cross in this form reminds me late war Luftwaffe fighters, not the early ones. If you say this option can be seen on some, even poor, photo that's good enought expalantion for me.

Nice job on such a tiny aircraft, Keith. I cannot even imagine airbrushing one....
Thanks, Sean. Great to be part of the campaign.
A little more progress on my Do 335. The cockpits are done and main shape of the fuselage is there. I have added a lot of lead weights in the nose of the aircraft. Hopefully that will avoid having a tail sitter.
More to follow soon.

Damian,
Difference in scale? What difference in scale?!
I guess there is a slight difference.
It does take some mental juggling, and a good pair of magnifying eyewear, to switch betwixt these two.

Good news, and bad news.
The good news--I found the canopy to the little Me-262. It was buried in the bottom of my spare clear parts box. Talk about your needle in a haystack!
The bad news--it is in pretty bad shape. Crookedly painted frame lines, scratches, and a chunk broken off of the rear starboard side.
I'm thinking of repairing it the best I can, give it a coat of Future inside and out, fix the frame paint, and painting the inside black, a la a static display "plane on a stick" style. There's no interior to look at anyway.
Opinions?
Thanks,
Keith

Keith, that sounds like a solid plan, given waht you're working with and the scale.
carry on!

And the He115 is done. The decals were in poor shape, but I did manage to make them work.

Diego,
Wow! That is one impressive paint and decal job. Your model could easily pass for the real thing. Very nice!

I've not been able to get to the bench for a while now but I did get there on Monday while I had a day off work.
So in a fit of madness I managed to get some gloss black on the Sabre.
Next up will be some Alclad.
