Many thanks for reminder Sean, I completely forgot about making and publishing any pictures. Here are three quickly taken with a cellphone (don't have anything better right now), so please forgive me poor quality. I'll try to change these pics in a couple of days.

Sean,
I thought about it and decided to NOT submit my finished kit to the gallery. I started this campaign with a true Hangar Queen, the 1/32 F-16, but didn't get to finish it. The 1/144 Me-262 I found in my parts bin and rebuilt was not really a Hangar Queen, but more like a wreck found in an abandoned barn and then restored. And as small as it is, it was not much of a challenge.
I will certainly continue on the Viper and maybe enter it in HQ III!
Thanks for a fun and enjoyable campaign!
Keith
Fair enough, Keith. In any case, you did a nice job with that barn find!
Mecenas, I see yours in the gallery now. Well done!
thanks again,
Sean H.

Send me a personal message if you sneak one into the gallery soon, or if I missed you somehow.
Nice work everyone!

I'm happy to approve HQ3 as long as we can find a campaign leader. I've chatted with Sam and we are happy to not need the 10 interested rule for the campaign as this has proven to be a popular campaign for the last two years. So when does Hangar Queen III kick off?

If Sean is not able to run HQ III I have plenty of time on my hands to assist.

Thanks, Bob, Allan, Sam, etc. Sorry this thread got past me 3 weeks ago.
I don't mind Bob taking the reigns for HQ III. I can be his deputy if the need exists. I have plenty of computer time, not as much bench time nowadays!
Thanks everyone at AeroScale! Give yourselves a pat on the back. Like everyone else, I have plenty of hangar queen candidates ready to go.

@ Sean: it would be my honor to have you as the deputy, you could keep me inline if that is possible.
@ Jonathan: maybe you Sean and the rest of us need to take a photo of what is lingering on our work areas that need some TLC to finish.

Hi Rob
Count me in for III.
There is not enough space on Aeroscale hard drive for photos of my hanger queens! LOL

Hello Richard:
Sean had a great idea with the Hanger Queen campaigns to try to dust off some of the clutter from our desk/work areas. It looks lke we need to make it an annual happening. What do you think Sean.

I can't take credit for the idea. Way back in September 2010, GrayGhost666 kicked off the original Hangar Queen campaign, but when he stepped away for a medical procedure for a few months, I filled in, and I've been here ever since. (After all, my HH-52A had to be built!)
See original thread .
Cheers!

to begin with, here are two TBM-3R conversions that I havent touched in over a year.
They need cockpit canopy modifications, and I had an idea to fold the wings of one of them. then decals of course.
The Helldiver did get finished.

My mistake, I had forgot that GrayGhost666 was the originator of the HQ. After conversing with Sean, how does a time frame of March 1 to December 31 sound?
@ Jonathan: that should give you time to finish at least (2) of those birds.

Hi All
HQ III will certainly be on the cards I'll get the campaign set up this weekend to start on the 1st February.
Sam and I think this should just be an annual campaign as long as there is someone able to take the lead.

Hello Allen and Sam, I have no problem with heading this for an annual event and I am sure Sean or some one else can step in at other times. Feb. 1st. sounds good to me. Now to design a ribbon and to find some who can also do the same for a banner design.

Thanks Bob, don't worry about the ribbon and banner. I still have the files from the last one so I'll update them and post them this weekend.. Now to design a ribbon and to find some who can also do the same for a banner design.

Ah cool! HQIII would allow me to finish the big F-16, and maybe a few others. (Did you see how I almost kept a straight face while typing that latter part? )
But seriously, with my half-built stash I could use an annual campaign.
What about a single ribbon with a devise added for each subsequent award, military style? Or would that be too logistically difficult?
Keith

Hello Keith,
We are all laughing with you not at you since we are all in the same boat . As for the ribbon, Allen has some ideas/suggestions on the subject.
