I'll bet that was lots of fun keeping those two Boeing behemoths in formation.
Is that a WWII color photo of those Lancs or a colorization?

I would bet the B-17 was a handful in the wake of a B-52.
The Lanc pic I got off a British Lancaster site and the pic doesn't look colorized. I looks WWII correct compared to others I've seen.

Hi Ian,
That is the same kit I plan on doing still debating whether I will scribe it or not.
Cheers Rob.

Hey Rob, hope you are well. I am still deciding too, if I will scribe or not. It's not been easy rounding up reference material on SAAF Libs either. Anyway, think I have everything I need , including a new nose turret.

Ian

I just ordered a Bolo. Only trouble will be deciding which scheme to do. The Bolo always dressed to impress!

I'm in with a 1/48 PBJ-1D. I have the AM B-25C/D kit to work with as a basis, plus some aftermarket goodies to flesh out the Marine version. It's big, it's blue, and it's got rockets!

This is looking like it's going to be a great campaign. Only about two weeks to the start and, if I may, a small nudge; still no ribbon.

I'm in, with the biggest, baddest bomber the British ever flew.
This build will kind of link to the Russell Anderson Memorial Campaign, as this kit came from Russell's stash. Also, just now when I was looking for the enlist link, I saw that Russell had signed up for the campaign. He's still here, in spirit!

Actually, in the place where time starts (Greenwich, of course), it's already June 1, so this campaign has begun. This thread will now be locked. The official campaign thread is here.
Have a great time everyone (but get that ribbon done!)
Michael
