Anyone up for a bomber campaign? Any scale, any era... I envision this as being a longer campaign to allow for people to conquer some of the larger multi-engine bombers. Initially I would say that the referenced aircraft should have a minimum of 2 engines (2 jet engines are fine) so no F-190F's, Stuka's, or Devastators... that is taking the east way out. What if's are OK, to allow people to maybe tackle some of the "zwilling" planes or strange Luftwaffe 46 bombers if they so choose.
This is a selfish campaign proposal, I've got a bunch of big bomber kits lying around that I want some company while building... I will be doing one of these if this happens. The problem is whittling it down to which one.
Or maybe if I'm feeling a little whiffy...

We last ran a campaign like this in 2010: Big Beautiful Bombers. Judging by the response last time it's a popular topic. Perhaps it's an idea whose time has come once again

I have a few in my stash!
Count me in.
Next year would be a good time.

Thinking about this one too... It is big, bad, dangerous, and ugly.

I would but the only bomber in the stash is the abysmal Airfix 1/72 liberator... If I get a bomber to review I'll be in for sure.

I have waay too many bomber kits in my stash to count. I am always up for a good kick in the pants reason to work up the brass to tackle one. Since they are usually grand undertakings I tend to wuss out and build singles instead.
I welcome the extra motivation of a campaign.
Cheers,
Fred

Ok ok, I have a B-25 and an A-20 both 1/48 and crying out to be built so I'm in.
Also have a 1/48 Beaufort but that's vacform and will take a few years to build.

Are the SU-24 or Canberra in 1/48 big enough?
Because if they are big enough, I'm going in for sure.

I hope you don't mind Victor...
Can I build a second Camberra..? (I haven't got any Su-24 on my Stash)
If Victor agree... Count me in, for the second half of 2014...
See You

Diego: I don`t mind, but you can go with the Canberra and I can go with the SU-24 to give more modern bombers variety to the campaign
John: Thanks mate. Yes, with this range of bombers the campaign will be awesome!
The dio is in stand-by because I am getting ready to launch the furniture sets. Thanks for ask
