Well done, Terri. I like it very much.
I also note you used pencil crayon for the prop blades. I've used crayons for other purposes with limited success, although I feel your prop proves the viability of the technique. I'm going to try it in the Canvas Falcon campaign.
How many colors did you use?

Hi Terri
Really nice!
So, are you going to dive into building Eduard's new kit now, or have you had you fill of Siemens-Schuckerts for a while.
All the best

Thanks guy's
Ben , I used four different colours and a blending stick . Colours I used .
Base coat of Tamiya Deck Tan and when dried a health coat of dull coat lacquer very important or the pencils won't work . There needs to be a rough surface for the wax to grab . Once this is fully dried I start with a chestnut brown for the dark part of the lamination . I than used black just on the lower part of the lamination followed in between going over the work with a blending stick between the different shades followed with a few coats of future .
I still need to work on this more , but I very please with the results .
Rowan , Yup . I have the kit on order and waiting for it to come in . I already have the replacement Lozenge for it . I'm hooked on Aviattic's lozenge . Just down right wonderful stuff !
I also still have one more in the stash plus the Flashback kit and both Koster kit's and Rodens 32 in stash
I'm thinking the next one will be a vac kit ....

Fantastic build Terri, very inspiring!
I recently had been reading either eduards web site or their news letter and the companies beginnings and the early ssw kit was discussed. It was mentioned that at a model show, somebody told them that he thought it was a terrible kit and unbuildable or some such rude/unconstructive comments. I immediately thought of yours and Mr Lawsons builds and how they demonstrate that patience persistence and for lack of a betterword, love of the game (?) Can overcome challenging kits.
Of course sometimes theres not enough of any of that stuff, in those cases there is
I have eduard early sopwith baby kit I hope to challenge myself with someday, looking forward to it!

Thanks Mike ,
Yes , on another site a friend posted part of the article and got a chuckle out of it . He must be the only person who wasn't able to build it . I have seen many builds of this kit and those folks didn't seem to have to many troubles with it .
